What type of business is The Irving?

We are a café, convenience store and gas station all in one. We have many fresh offerings, such as made-to-order sandwiches, signature smoothies and brewed-fresh-for-you coffee with high-quality coffee beans that are roasted right here in New England.

Why did you choose to set up shop in Pembroke?

The friendly people and hospitable community made Pembroke an ideal spot for our very first company-owned, company-operated Irving store. The Irving opened in January 2020 and has been serving the community and travelers alike for more than five years.

What makes The Irving unique?

We take pride in the high-quality ingredients we choose for our freshly-made food items. Our kitchen team begins each day making quality breakfast sandwiches and offers a variety of baked goods such as muffins, donuts and the ever-so-popular whoopie pies. From 16” pizzas or even by the slice, baguette sandwiches or delicious cheeseburgers with a side of wedges, you can’t go wrong. You can enjoy your meals on-site in our welcoming seating area, take a seat at our picnic table on a nice day or order our menu items on Doordash to be conveniently delivered.

Our company’s flagship community program Fuel the Care is also supported each time you fill up your vehicle at The Irving. Our Fuel the Care program provides fuel gift cards to families requiring travel for a child's medical needs. The Irving also hosts a Fuel the Care Pump where four cents from every gallon purchased is donated to Tufts Medical Center.

Why did you choose to sponsor the Pembroke Farmers Market?

In our store at The Irving, we offer many products that support local vendors and companies. The Pembroke Farmers Market was a great fit for us as a sponsor because of our shared love for fresh ingredients and locally sourced food. Supporting local businesses and being a part of this community is important to us.

How else does The Irving support the Pembroke and South Shore communities?

We take pride in being part of the Pembroke community. We value our sponsorships with the Pembroke Youth Baseball and Softball league, Pembroke Titans Football and Cheer, and various other causes. We are also a proud member of the Pembroke Chamber of Commerce.
