Tell us the history behind Marelle Candle Company?

Marelle Candle Company is a mom-and-daughter business that began right in our home, blending our love for creativity, cozy spaces, and quality time together. What started as a fun bonding activity quickly turned into a passion for crafting beautiful, clean-burning soy candles and wax melts. We hand-pour every candle with care, using eco-friendly materials and premium fragrance oils to create unique scents to fit any mood or moment. Our mission is to bring warmth, light, and a little bit of our story into every home.

What do you love most about living on the South Shore?

Living on the South Shore means being close to the ocean, and that’s where we find so much peace and inspiration. The coastal lifestyle influences many of our scents — think fresh sea breeze, warm sand, and soft florals. We love the small-town charm, local pride, and the amazing support from our community. It’s a beautiful place to live and create.

If you had to pick one fellow vendor to buy from, who would it be and why?

If we had to choose one vendor, it would definitely be Tossed and Found. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they also pour their heart into everything they make — just like we do. We love supporting other small, local businesses that feel like family.
